Al Tawarij silo is located in Al Twarij, 20 km south of Qamishli, Al Hasaka governorate.
The silo consists of two lines of cells to store grain, each line has 6 storage cells (12 cells in total) , the total capacity of storage is 12000 tons, 1000 tons per cell, as following
4 reception tanks, 2 reception tanks for each row, a concrete tank of 15-ton capacity.
- 2 bottom reception conveyors, one for each row.
- 2 Reception lifts, one for each row.
- 2 upper conveyors, one for each row.
- 12 cells, each cell is a cylindrical sheet iron 12 m high with a diameter of 11 m of 1000 ton storage capacity. It also consists of a cone section at the top, 3 m high.
